Public bug reported: Some time ago, I've found some discussion about disabling Light Locker for Live CD sessions, because a locked live session becomes unlockable.
I'm observing the same behaviour with a desktop guest session: when AFK, the guest session locks and becomes unlockable. The only workaround I've found until now is customizing the guest session following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CustomizeGuestSession , disabling Light Locker. I wonder if Light Locker could be disabled by default for desktop guest sessions. I'm not sure if it should be implemented in light-locker itself or in xubuntu-default-settings. ** Affects: xubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1337834 Title: Light locker should be disabled for guest sessions by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xubuntu-default-settings/+bug/1337834/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
