Seems like this bug happens when the display size is set to 0. This could 
happen, in particular, when using ATI proprietary drivers (fglrx).
A workaround is to specify "DisplaySize" inside the "Monitor" section of 
xorg.conf.

to Ken Phillis Jr for the reference!).

However I think that Qt libraries should check the value returned by the
X server before making computations, in order to avoid the crash of the
application.
