** Description changed:

  Hi everybody!

I'm sad : I can't install Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 5 (idem for Kubuntu) on my
  laptop (Acer Travelmate 8100).

  - With the desktop CD, I have the menu but I can't launch or install
- ubuntu (even check the CD). The system crashes when he displays "Loading
+ ubuntu (even check the CD). The system crashes when it displays "Loading
  linux kernel (52%)".

  - With the alternate CD, it displays "Isolinux...." then "loading..."
and the system crashes. It seems to be the same error than with the
  desktop CD.

I know that I don't give much information...
I don't understand such a regression because Ubuntu Dapper, Edgy & Feisty
work perfectly on my laptop :-(

Edit : I link the bug with the package linux-sources-2.6.22... Sorry if
  I'm wrong!
