In short, you need to enable the UVC_QUIRK_PROBE_DEF quirk by following these steps: 1. Unplug your webcam 2. Unload the uvcvideo module (sudo rmmod uvcvideo) 3. Reload the module with the quirks parameter set to 0x100 (sudo modprobe uvcvideo quirks=0x100) 4.
