I tried Xubuntu 14.04 Live USB Stick on my Dell Vostro 3550.
Every view seconds, a "Display configure screen settings and layout"
window pops up and wants to configure my screen layout.
sometimes 2 windows pop up at the same time, sometimes, 4 or even more.
Dell Vostro 3550 has a separate AMD graphic card and a integrated Intel
i5-2410M Intel Graphic card that is switchable using AMD FGLRX Driver.
But I use only standard X.org driver.
Please see attached screenshot.
