Public bug reported: 1. Boot ubuntu-14.04-desktop-amd64.iso in a Virtual Box VM using UEFI. 2. Installation type: something else 3. click New Partition Table button 4. click free space then + button, set Size 200MB, set Use as to EFI boot partition, click OK.
Result: In the top portion of the UI, sda1 is reported as having file system (ext4). Expected: The file system for EFI System partitions is most correctly described as being the EFI file system, but could also be described as FAT, or FAT16/FAT32. In any case it's not ext4. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1330020 Title: custom installation says EFI system partition will be formatted ext4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1330020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
