Read from remote host HOSTNAME: Connection reset by peer Connection to HOSTNAME closed. I have made sure my SeverAliveInterval is set low to avoid timeouts. This never happened using Feisty. I have checked the client and server logs as well and do not see anything obvious. Let me know if you have any questions. ** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - ssh seems to randomly disconnect + ssh seems to randomly disconnect after long ssh session ** Description changed: Binary package hint: ssh OpenSSH_4.6p1 Debian-5, OpenSSL 0.9.8e 23 Feb 2007 OpenSSL 0.9.8e 23 Feb 2007 built on: Tue Jul 31 14:18:58 GMT 2007 platform: debian-i386-i686/cmov options: bn(64,32) md2(int) rc4(idx,int) des(ptr,risc1,16,long) blowfish(idx) compiler: gcc-4.1 -fPIC -DOPENSSL_PIC -DZLIB -DOPENSSL_THREADS -D_REENTRANT -DDSO_DLFCN -DHAVE_DLFCN_H -DL_ENDIAN -DTERMIO -O3 -march=i686 -Wa,--noexecstack -g -Wall -DOPENSSL_BN_ASM_PART_WORDS -DOPENSSL_IA32_SSE2 -DSHA1_ASM -DMD5_ASM -DRMD160_ASM -DAES_ASM OPENSSLDIR: "/usr/lib/ssl" Linux der-dieb 2.6.22-10-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 22 08:11:52 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux Ubuntu gutsy (development branch) --------------------- Since installing Tribe 5 I have been getting the following message after having long SSH sessions open.
