Public bug reported:

Hello,

I've tested the trusty Xstack HWE xserver-xorg-lts-trusty with my Radeon
HD5550, which supports opengl4.x.

Mesa 10.1.3 should support OpenGL 3.3 for this card, so glxinfo should show the
correct information, but it does not.
=> Only OpenGL 3.0

OpenGL vendor string: X.Org
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD REDWOOD
OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 10.1.3
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30

The problem is the mesa-utils version 8.0.1+git20110129.

I have taken the source from trusty mesa-utils 8.1.0-2 and compiled it on
precise ...
You need glew >= 1.5.4, so install libglew1.6-dev.

After installing the new mesa-utils 8.1.0-2, glxinfo shows the correct
information => OpenGL 3.3 support!

Please update mesa-utils and mesa-utils-extra to 8.1.0-2 (trusty
version) in precise!

Thanks, Bernhard
