I've just done a migration on my test setup, on a guest having 21 days of uptime. Result: The guest froze for 53 seconds, then went happily on its way again. The 'TSC unstable' message did not show up, but ntp shows that the machine is now 53 seconds behind. The physical hosts have no NTP timing error.
I'm not sure how gluster could cause this post-migration freeze.
