No I didn't experience this before the Trusty release. However, I sometimes use alpha builds and upgrade/downgrade packages. During the process, I was once stuck on a old kernel which was not getting updated (3.13-16 I think). I installed the Ubuntu release kernel 3.13-24 manually.
The problems have started since then, so I am thinking whether the problem can be related to my package configurations. Is there a way to sanity check my packages and configurations? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1318455 Title: [Dell XPS 15 (L502X)] Kernel panic during boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1318455/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
