Just a guess, but have you tried setting the audio interface to different sample rates? I have at least one audio device that can be set to a number of rates but only works right at 48Khz. Try setting the pulseaudio default sample rate to 48000 in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf. (I believe windows defaults to 48000, but I could be wrong) Pulse defaults to 44100 because there is at least one audio interface that works only at that speed and most audio content on the web is at that rate. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1290611 Title: [Clevo W65_67SZ, Intel Haswell HDMI, Digital Out, HDMI] crackling sound and audio up a note To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1290611/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
