I am too affected by this bug. I have a Laptop with Intel graphics (Intel Ironlake) and this machine is affected by this bug. But I also have another Laptop with an old Nvidia Geforce 7300GO and this one seems not to be affected. The same applies for my desktop machine (Nvidia Geforce 210). Both Nvidia-Machines are running the proprietary graphics driver. And all three machines are running Ubuntu Trusty, of course.
