This is most likely a problem with the Spectrum Analyzer and OpenGL, you can workaround this for the moment and disable the analyzer by editing the ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc file and set this value:
[Context View] firstTimeWithAnalyzer=false Restarting Amarok after that should show if I am right. FWIW: if you want a sensible output from the konsole, always start amarok with amarok -d --nofork ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #323635 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323635 ** Also affects: amarok via https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323635 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319164 Title: Amarok won't work on Lubuntu 14.04 AMD64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/amarok/+bug/1319164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
