This is an outstanding bug. For some reason the LP ticket was marked as fixed (bug #1035067) although it was never fixed; Shotwell began using locale-specific strings (which some translators haven't added, unfortunately) but the 24-hour problem is a separate issue and not fixed in Shotwell.
