The problem seems to be in the fact that "ruby2.0" depends on "ruby", which depends on "ruby1.9.1". I rebundled the package without the dependencies to "ruby" and "rubygems-integration": https://launchpad.net/~spuul/+archive/ruby2.0
I removed the dependency to libjs-jquery too (I am unclear why this dependency exists) and added the alternatives symlinks. Is there a way to provide a trusty-updates for this package? I am unclear how this would work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310292 Title: installing `ruby2.0` results in ruby 1.9.3-p484 as default version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby2.0/+bug/1310292/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
