Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I see that uncrustify version 0.59-2 is available in Ubuntu 12.10 and later releases, so I believe this issue can be considered fixed.
Btw, when a newer version exists in Debian, it is possible to request a sync of the package, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SyncRequestProcess for details.
