Public bug reported: I'm getting the error message "Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade. This can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal." So I fully agree with the general text in bug #934371, but I have no menas to say if they are identical lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 13.10 Release: 13.10 uname -a Linux 'hostname' 3.11.0-20-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 21:31:50 UTC 2014 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: ubuntu-release-upgrader-core 1:0.205.6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-20.35-generic 3.11.10.6 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-20-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2.2 Architecture: i386 CrashDB: ubuntu Date: Thu May 8 10:03:24 2014 InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-03-24 (44 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.10 "Saucy Salamander" - Release i386 (20131016.1) MarkForUpload: True PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: ubuntu-release-upgrader UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to saucy on 2014-05-08 (0 days ago) VarLogDistupgradeTermlog: ** Affects: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug dist-upgrade i386 saucy third-party-packages -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1317397 Title: Could not calculate the upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1317397/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
