Public bug reported: As mentioned in the summary, the screen is not locked when the menus of the indicators are open. Steps to reproduce: - set screen timeout to 1 minute — OR — set "no action" when closing the laptop lid; - click on an indicator; - wait — OR (according to the first action) — close the laptop lid; - if the screen is off, move the mouse; - you can see open windows and you can issue some commands (I succesfully opened a terminal using ctrl+alt+T); - if the indicator menu is closed, the screen is locked immediately after, but it is just too late.
My system is up to date, so the right-click → alt+F2 trick doesn't work anymore, for me. ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1316258 Title: The screen is not locked when the menus of the indicators are open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1316258/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
