I tested with v3.15-rc3-utopic. It appears that this bug has been fixed in this upstream branch. I will update the tags.
Now that I have a mainline kernel sitting alongside the stock 14.04 kernel, what should I do moving forward? In other words, when can I expect this fix to be pushed to Ubuntu master, (and how will I know when this happens), so I can remove the mainline kernel and revert to 'stock'? ** Tags added: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-3.15-rc3 ** Tags removed: needs-wifi-debug ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315055 Title: 8086:08b1 [Intel D54250WYK] Intel Wireless 7260.HMWG Constant Dropped Connection To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1315055/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
