I had to remove unity to recover my gnome-panel.

I just upgraded another computer from 13.10 to 14.04, when login I choosed
gnome-flashback metacity. The desktop worked.
But if I try to log in again with flash-back compiz the desktop is unity and I
can't fix it.

The only way I had to be abel to use gnome-flashback wit compiz was
unistall unity.

sudo apt-get remove unity

All this with regular updated ubuntu 14.04 I did not used the patch.

Bests.
