** Description changed:

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open Audacity and bring up the preferences dialog (menubar > Edit >
Preferences...)
  2. Go to Libraries and look up "FFmpeg Import/Export Library", you will find
the following message: "FFmpeg Library Version: FFmpeg support not complied in"

  What was expected:
That FFmpeg support was compiled in and/or one could choose which program to
use with the locate button.

  Background:
The ffmpeg package has been removed from the repositories in 14.04, which
might have lead to this change. However, ffmpeg has only been a transitional
package in prior releases since the libav project (a ffmpeg fork) was announced
(an integrated in Ubuntu).

I repeat: The is no reason to strip this feature from Audacity by not
compiling it with ffmpeg support, just because a transitional(!) package
  was finally removed.

Hint: The equivalent of the ffmpeg binary is named avconv.

  What needs to be done:
- Patch reenable FFmpeg support and patch Audacity to use libav.
+ Reenable FFmpeg support and patch Audacity to use libav.
