Public bug reported: If I suspend my Sony PCG-SRX51P/B, then it appears to close down fine. However, when the power button is pressed to restart, the X session does not restart but fails and apparently terminates. In any event, a new X starts with the login screen. This is a consistent action, there is no randomness, so it is completely reproducible -- for me anyway.
I am not sure if Bug #38130 relates in any way. Similarly Bug #86099 and Bug #110102. I can supply any extra information as needed. The machine is running Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn fully up-to-date with updates. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sony PCG-SRX51P/B suspend fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
