Hello! I have seen this behaviour on my qBittorrent too. It happens when I add a new torrent and the first MB are downloaded.
At first, I thought that it was due to pre-allocation space, but I have that option disabled. Anyway, after some seconds (the first MB are downloaded) the CPU use fall to normal.
