Public bug reported: Similarly to another bug (#1059834) which has been reported already, but this time it is about the upgrade 13.10 => 14.04 (that's why I opened a new bug). The upgrade sequence stopped at the second point (installing new package sources if I remember correctly) telling me the following:
Can't install 'ubuntu-desktop' It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a bug using 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal.
