The debdiff posted in bug #131368 by CHris Rogers works for me, it allowed me to generate a working linux-ubuntu-modules. I vote for marking this bug as duplicate of that one.
What I did: sudo apt-get build-dep linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10-generic apt-get source linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10-generic patch -p3 < l-u-m.debdiff cd linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-2.6.22 fakeroot debian/rules binary Then I installed the resulting package, linux-ubuntu- modules-2.6.22-10-generic_2.6.22-10.24_i386.deb. Now I have working sound again. -- Intel HDA sound broken on kernel 2.6.22-10.30 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134146 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
