I agree, according to my experience, most of people will quit Ubuntu or think it's too complicate if they can't get information on how to use it (specially around how to install programs, shutdown/restart the system, and other basic tasks). Providing a little help to new people at the first boot could be very important to make Ubuntu more usable for anyone!
