ibus-pinyin: Installed: 1.5.0-1ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.5.0-1ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1.5.0-1ubuntu1 0 500 http://mirror.it.ubc.ca/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Installed language support, ibus, and added Chinese(Pinyin) through the "Text Entry Settings". When typing in "pinyin" the Chinese characters produced do not correspond to what was typed in pinyin.
