[Impact]
* The 3.13 trusty backport kernel for 12.04 will be released fairly
soon. Some people have started testing the daily builds out the the
Kernel Team PPA. However the NVIDIA binary drivers in precise need
patches to support the 3.13 kernel.
[Test Case]
* The latest Nvidia binary driver series in 12.04 should work with the
upcomping 3.13 backport kernel; it currently does not.
[Regression Potential]
* Low. The patches enable compatibility with newer kernels but do not
affect installations on older kernels.
