I get the same error using cp - this is very very bad..... an example of
the resulting error is this:

this is the ls -lR output from the root of the drive:

./AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/G300stuff/full backup of
OS/App2SD/AcerLaptop/2gbSD/ebay/Pinnacle/Program Files (x86)/.......

As you can see it is totally screwed up. This is about as serious a bug
as it gets, as read works, but write is as good as useless.
