I have the same problem with a new motherboard ECS GeForce 6100SM-M and a eVGA GeForce 7600GT graphics card. It shuts off after about 1/8 of the boot. The Live CD did the same thing until I booted it in Safe Graphics mode. Then it booted fine and I was able to install Feisty. Now that it is installed, I have no way to boot in safe graphics mode, so it won't boot at all.
I'm a newbie. How do I go about moving or removing "intel-rng.ko"?
