Yes, as above I also used a workaround similar to the one above.  I found it

I added LIVEMEDIA=/dev/sdc1

I definitely started looking with the attitude that there was no way
that I was going to remove the hard drives to install my OS.

It looks like something is looking on the wrong disk for the installer.
