I also have this bug, not with Ubuntu but with Arch Linux & Grub2 working on UEFI.
Like others said, if I boot directly via the Windows Boot Loader, Windows 7 can resume from hibernate. If I try to load Windows via Grub2, resume fails and I get an error.
