I've updated the BIOS: mike@charron:~ $ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date [sudo] password for mike: Version 2.20 12/22/2011
I had to install and use Windows to do that, so I briefly tested bluetooth in Windows, and it worked fine. I'm not sure what else you want to know about "what happened" -- I updated the BIOS, and the problem I'm describing is unchanged. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1285961 Title: [Toshiba TECRA R700 PT318C-00F001] Bluetooth disabled until reloading btusb module To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1285961/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
