None of us fell for this trick, so we don't know that it is not a virus. Assuming you use Ubuntu, there are very few viruses for Linux, but JavaScript could do bad things; mostly, steal your online information (password, credit card currently in use). However, it sounds like a robot that is trying to get another account (you) to enter your password. If you fell for this, change your password. and any similar passwords.
