Same problem here with UBUNTU 7.04, kernel 2.6.22-9 onto a Pentium 4 1.7 GHz, Panasonic CF-Y4. -> the laptop does not go to sleep when close the lid -> when I suspend it manually, it goes into sleep, but no way to wake up, the only solution is rebooting -> hybernate does not work, it only puts the laptop in a freeze position, with black screen, and no way to wake up
