When I enable "Run as superuser" in the extra options, I cannot stop the
transfer via the "Stop" button in the progress window (probably because
as an unprivileged user I'm not allowed to send signals to root's
processes).

I'm using grsync 1.2.3 (compiled from source on 2013-05-10) on Ubuntu
12.04.4.
