Okay, so I found a pattern, and a TERRIBLE UGLY HORRIBLE workaround. Here are the steps to replicate this problem:
1) Make sure basket is installed. If basket is installed and normally started up with kontact, I would guess that it would crash if you tried to start kontact now. 2) Start basket 3) Start kontact 4) Kill basket 5) Click the Baskets icon inside of kontact. 6) Crash and burn. My work-around is to simply start basket before kontact, and leave it running. Normally Basket was started and run by kontact, and I really miss that functionality, but this is better than nothing for now. Did we forget to move Basket over with the rest of the last round of updates or something? -- In gutsy, kontact now crashes on startup (SIGSEGV) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133857 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
