Thanks, I have been noticing this continually but just to be sure have re-tested it now and it is still occurring; a 3m 3s track just ripped is shown in rhythmbox as a 7m 22s track. Trying wit other applications:
'mp3info -x' gives a length of 3m 3s (correct) mplayer gives a length of 7m 22s (incorrect, matching rhythmbox) totem gives a length of 3m 1-10s (correct-ish; the track length shown fluctuates during play!) I'd be happy to examine the file with any tools you can recommend and provide the output if you think it would help. I have tried downloading the tribe 4 CD to test this but it failed, I think my CD image may have been corrupt. I will try again later and let you know the result. -- Average Bit Rate MP3s report incorrect length https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/79668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
