Public bug reported: The Evolution EWS plugin is not able to work without gnome-keyring- daemon running. But evolution-ews (3.8.4-0ubuntu1) has no dependency to the package gnome-keyring.
In my case, I wasn't able to use evolution-ews until I found this link: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1278922 Problem without gnome-keyring being installed is as described: Evolutions gets stuck after clicking "fetch url" with the message "Querying autodiscover service". And after this, Evolution is not able to terminate itself anymore. $ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
