Public bug reported:

In the "Sound" panel, the volume slider has a switch next to it. This
switch is unlabelled and its purpose is not at all obvious.

It turns out that this switch is for muting sound, and not for, say,
allowing volume to be increased beyond 100%.

This should be labelled, and if the label is a verb phrase, changed from
a switch to a checkbox.

** Affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Low
     Assignee: Matthew Paul Thomas (mpt)
         Status: Confirmed
