Public bug reported:
When the system clock is set to the year 1907, I can't log in with gnome cleanly (also not in failsave mode). You might want to ask why I set my time to 1907. Actually I don't, but when I pull out the power supply of my imac (which is disconnected from the internet so no ntp), the system clock is reset to the year 1907. It was a hard finding out that this was the problem and also a pain to set the system clock to today (I had to log in with xterm and type 'sudo time-admin'). ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- system clock problems on imacs https://launchpad.net/bugs/59518 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
