1.) The freezing occurs only in the live environment. The starting process ceases very shortly after it was initiated. See the photo I attached a while ago.
2.) I do not have knowledge how releases BEFORE SAUCY work or do not work on the machine. Saucy (13.10) works relatively well. An older development version of Trusty was able to successfully start up, too. Hence it is a regression in the development process of ubuntu 14.04. Should I test Raring or Precise as well? (I have never tried them on the machine.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1255104 Title: HP ZBook 15 Try Ubuntu via Live environment freezes system after a while To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1255104/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
