Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Could you please add the full output of 'lsusb' when the
device is connected and the full output of 'dmesg' after trying to
connect to the device with gpsbabel? It would also be helpful if you
could test with the development release of Ubuntu, the Gutsy Gibbon,
which you can learn more about at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ .
