Hello,

Same problem here. I'm running 2.6.22.3 self-compiled kernel on Fiesty on a
Vaio vgn-fs115m laptop.
Unloading an relaoding the tifm_7xx1 module is a workaround...

$ dmesg | grep tifm
tifm_core: MMC/SD card detected in socket 0:0
PM: Adding info for tifm:tifm_sd0:0

$ lsmod | grep tifm
tifm_sd                11144  0
mmc_core               26436  1 tifm_sd
tifm_7xx1               7680  0
tifm_core              10500  2 tifm_sd,tifm_7xx1
