Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Performed a dist-upgrade from feisty to gutsy on a Toshiba Satellite
A100. Unfortunately, the new kernel (2.6.22-9.25, snd-hda-intel) only
outputs barely-audible levels of sound, even with with the volume at
maximum.
The bug is more-or-less identical to #92171 (which was fixed in 2.6.20),
except that the shell-based fix offered as a workaround no longer works.
