@Basilio Kublik: Yes, I am sure the flash drive is mounted as /media/USB\ DISK. (This particular flash drive, YMMV.) No, I do not have enough rights to umount the disk, as the error message states. Using sudo does work.
@Pedro Villavicencio: I am not looking for support. Obviously, there are ways to unmount the flash drive, so my problem is not that I am unable to unmount it. The problem is that I can unmount the disk from the context menu without entering my password (i.e. without using gksudo or such) but I cannot unmount it from the command line without using sudo. I would like to see this made more consistent. I agree that this is not necessarily a bug. Can we agree on making this a wishlist item?
