Hi Christopher, since I was having multiple issues when using the nvidia's proprietary driver, I have recently started to use the noveau driver instead. Therefore I can not confirm whether this is still an issue with the newest updates on 13.10. However, there have been other kind of problems with the noveau driver as well, so I am not exactly satisfied with the current state and I will gladly try the 14.04 beta. As soon as I have time, I will install it and should there be issues, I will make sure to report them.
