Well, since I use those scripts, for me there is no need to do anything anymore. I would like to modify gnome shell touchpad-extension to use my scripts and i usually disable backports. But if there are others that experience this problem it would be nice. I cannot issue Status Invalid because, in my case there is not such that. If there is no middle way, please make a backport.
