dino99, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, please just make a comment to this. ** Tags added: latest-bios-3002 ** Description changed: Error with the latest kernel & nvidia on RR i386 (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory Note: the system seems to work normally (only get some drag & drop mouse issues). - - The kernel installation still complaint about kmod failling: - https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+source/kmod/+bug/1073062 - (ERROR: could not insert 'w83627ehf': Device or resource busy) - - Found that old similar report: - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/430694 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: linux-image-3.8.0-2-generic 3.8.0-2.6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-2.6-generic 3.8.0-rc4 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-2-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.8-0ubuntu2 Architecture: i386 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: oem 2268 F.... pulseaudio CRDA: Error: command ['iw', 'reg', 'get'] failed with exit code 1: nl80211 not found.
