Public bug reported: I am running an almost vanilla distribution of Ubuntu, with only a few apps even installed. I have two PPAs - xorg-edgers and libreoffice - in use, because I needed a newer nvidia driver for this gpu. I have done far more than this to my computers before and upgrades will always at least _try_ to run: this one is refusing point blank whilst it's still calculating the upgrade. I have previously tried purging the xorg ppa, but still nothing will work. I have attempted this upgrade multiple times ever since Saucy was released.
